Privacy Policy
Bright Star Routine is made by a family, for families. This page explains, in plain language, what information we keep and how we treat it.
What we collect
Only what your family enters to use the star chart:
- Account details — the email address and password you use to sign in.
- Chart content — your child's name (or nickname) and emoji, the missions and rewards you create, checkmarks, and the star balance and history.
- Caregiver details — the display name and title each grown-up chooses, so stars show who gave them.
- Family code — the 6-letter code that links caregivers to the same chart.
We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or anything else from your child's device. The app contains no advertising and no tracking from ad companies.
Children's information
We know this app is about kids, so we treat their information with extra care. Only the caregivers you invite with your family code can see your child's chart. We don't sell, rent, or share children's information with anyone. If you delete a child or your whole chart, that information is removed.
Who can see your chart
Your family's chart is private to the caregivers in your family. Each caregiver signs in with their own account, and joining requires your 6-letter family code. Keep that code within your family's trusted grown-ups.
Payments
If you subscribe, payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We never see or store your full card number — only your subscription status.
Data removal
You can delete missions, rewards, children, or your whole chart at any time from the app. If you'd like your account fully removed, email us at andreajamette@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page. The date below shows the latest version.
